“Seeking support is an act of courage; you don’t have to carry everything alone.”
Simran approaches therapy as a collaborative and compassionate process, grounded in trust, respect, and curiosity. Simran believes that meaningful change begins when people feel safe, understood, and supported. She strives to create a therapeutic space where clients can explore their experiences openly and at their own pace. Therapy is tailored to each individual, with an emphasis on meeting people where they are and working toward goals that feel manageable and purposeful.
Simran works with individuals across the lifespan, supporting them in navigating a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, low mood, stress, burnout, life transitions, identity-related questions, relationship and family challenges, loneliness, and self-esteem concerns. Her work is rooted in evidence-based practices and focuses on helping clients develop deeper self-awareness alongside practical coping tools that support day-to-day functioning.
Simran has experience working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, including BIPOC individuals and members of the 2SLGBTQI+ community. Drawing from her clinical training and lived experience, Simran brings a multicultural and trauma-informed lens to therapy, recognizing the impact of systemic inequities, cultural expectations, and intergenerational experiences on mental health.
Simran is committed to providing care through an anti-oppressive framework and to fostering an affirming space where clients feel respected and empowered. Her goal is to help clients identify their strengths, build resilience, and develop skills that support meaningful and lasting change.
Outside of clinical work, Simran values intentional self-care and encourages clients to find balance through restorative practices that align with their personal interests. In her own time, Simran enjoys baking, hiking, playing the piano, and spending time with friends and family.
